  • Building on progress to date in improving key North-South road corridors, rail services and air services to facilitate easy access and movement for people and goods on the island of Ireland, as well as on the East West axis, which will in turn enhance the competitive position of businesses in Ireland.
  • Achieving the Single Electricity Market and wider all island energy market (including in the area of renewables) with direct benefits for consumers in terms of security and competitiveness of energy supply and greater energy efficiency.
  • Abolition of cross border roaming charges for all customers, 100% broadband availability on the island of Ireland and achievement of a seamless telecommunications market between the two jurisdictions.
  • Translating reports and recommendations for an all-island approach to environmental issues, including waste management into real action in order to achieve greater economies of scale, tackle similar problems and challenges and collaboration at a practical level.
  • Ensuring ongoing collaboration on supply chain and logistics initiatives between respective government development agencies and professional bodies.
  • Ensuring that infrastructure priorities and subsequent developments enable accessibility both into and out of the island of Ireland - for both goods and people.
